you have to sign up for an offer for it to be complete. which means you need to use your credit card number, even though it isn't billed. you sign up with one of the offers listed, and get a 30-day free trial. after the 30 days you just cancel and you dont end up paying anything. you need to get 5 other people to do it as well, then they send you an ipod. its legitimate, the costs are met through the advertising, which is the basis of the offer. its a little tricky getting 5 people to be willing to give there credit card number. I signed up for the travelers advantage because I've heard of them before, and I can get a discount when I buy a plane ticket in a few days. so if you really want a free ipod, you got to do that. :)
