Just a quick question, another poor man's pole:
This refers to both the book and film, so I suggest that those not wishing to know any spoilers (if there are still people out there who haven't seen/read them) not to continue reading.
I know that in Anne Rice's book the character Louis and the 12-year-old girl (who is pretty much an adult trapped in a child's body) are having an affair - this is obviously pretty disturbing in a pedophile way, and Louis himself is quite confused and unsure of the arrangement.
In the film I feel that this has been 'glossed over' by the film makers, and in fact attempts to make this appear not even an option. Another person I know believes the opposite, and that the disturbing affair is apparent in the film too.
What does everyone think? Implied in the film or not?
