I am SO pleased I was late to bed last night and felt the quake. Everyone says "I was there when...blackouts/floods/etc" - I have never been witness to such things before and have felt that I have missed amazing things. I am doubly glad that in our green and pleasant land these things are never severe - according to the BBC news site only 1 person
