Adjusting her tight black v-neck t-shirt, she shifted in her seat to lean over and grab Danny's hand before it reached the scotch.
"I think you might need a break. Any more and I'm gonna have to throw you over my shoulder just to get your ass home, Messer." She replied with an intoxicated grin. Anna wasn't a lightweight when it came to booze, but keeping up with Danny was getting her pretty drunk too.
"Yeah, right," he smirked, but his hand left the bottle where it was and just turned back to face her again. "Like you could throw me over your shoulder."
Leaning in slightly, she gave him a devious grin. "Hey, I'm a lot stronger than I was last time we hung out. I've got some pretty bad-ass muscles here." And with that remark came a slightly over-the-top flex of her newly-sculpted biceps.
Now, had she been sober, she'd have pulled back immediately and apologized. There was no blushing and flustered stuttering. Instead, she paused for a second and kissed him again.
Apparently so was Danny. There was a tiny voice in the back of his head telling him that this was wrong, and that he shouldn't, but he couldn't stop himself from moving closer, cupping her face and leaning in to the kiss.
His lips were warm, and she was lonely. This seemed perfect in her drunken haze. She leaned into the kiss more and ran her fingers through Danny's hair as she kept the kiss going.
Danny's brain had quit somewhere in the middle of that kiss, and he was just pulling her closer, letting his fingers ghost down her sides and brushing against the skin exposed between her shirt and the top of her pants.
