I'm not going to say that being made to like someone you hate is the worst thing in the world, but it kinda takes all the meaning out of it if you don't choose to make that change on your own. Hope it gave some of you the chance to see and appreciate how things could be different, though. I'd say it's one of the more admirable things about this ( Read more... )

It's only 'how things could have been' if you were both living under delusions or something similar.

Also, if it was both of you, you'd still end up telling the other things which you'd never want them to know - the only difference would be that you'd have the satisfaction of having it back.

So mutual blackmail is acceptable?

It was... interesting. That Romania place sounded a little like Uberwald and Dracula, well, he was just another vampire, wasn't he?

I dunno. The latter part's debatable, and since that book was written there have been like -- a million different retellings of the story. Sometimes he's just another vampire. Sometimes he's the king of vampires, sometimes he's not even a vampire at all... It changes around a lot.
