If i were in your shoes i would also feel like im degrading myself by going to a community college, and if do apply for financial aid, once you get out of college and have time for a "real" job it will be easier to pay, i promise. one of my cousins applied for financial aid and got it and had it paid off within two years and also wasn't living with his dad or in some shitty apartment complex, my vote is to pick the college that you want to go to and not worry about the money, it may seem like a big issue but in all reality it's not because there's so many things you can do to pay it back, i dont know if this helped but i hope i did...

well uh community college SUCKS its boring and almost everyone there is creepy and NOT cool and EVERYONE is gone its not cool
but if you have mad scholorships thatll help you alot, and choose a school that has subjects that intrest you dont pick one cuz they are giving you the most money.

GO AWAY. Seriously. It will do nothing but hurt you if you go to OCC. Im getting all A's with my eyes closed and classes skipped. I show up on tests days for my math class only. It's easier than high school, and its gonna be even more hard next year when i transfer out of here.

i've thought about community college too. even though it saves money, there's no way that i would want to miss out on that first year of college experience. but thats just my personal opinion. do whatever you think is going to make you happiest.
