A friend of mine complained that I never write enough. He told me I needed to go out into a field and sit there and write whatever I was inspired to...

The Crime of Aestheticism

26/05/05 Having decided to write I ventured outdoors. Paper, pen, a bottle of cold beer and no inspiration. For some reason I imagined I would write better in the ( Read more... )

You really do have such a talent for writing, Liam.

So I'm in London starting July 7th. Any chance I can run into you while up there? You have until August 8th... :-)

Thank you! Glad you liked it...

Yeah, would be great to come and see you. I may well (hopefully!) be working by then, so I'm not sure when I'll be free, but I certainly will be at some point! When's best by you? Is there anything in particular you fancy doing, anywhere you want to go?

And if you fancy coming down and visiting the legendary City of Canterbury you're more than welcome and my family would be more than happy to put you up for a weekend if you wish...

Oooh Canterbury. I might have to take you up on that offer...not sure though about when is best. Since I'm taking 2 classes in a time frame of 4 weeks, they're really cramming stuff in!

The weekends of July 22nd-24th I'm in Edinburgh, and the following weekend (7/29-7/30) I'm in Paris. Other than that, I have two free weekends. (which are supposidly three day weekends, but one of the Fridays I'm required to visit Stonehenge).

But anyway, as for what we could do in London...hmmm...I have to visit a few museums for class and eat at a certain kind of restaurant (Indian, Middle Easter, and African, I think) every week. Sooo maybe we could do something crazy like that.

If all else fails, the last three days I'm there, August 5-7, are totally free save a bunch of packing.

Okey dokey.

Well... if you fancy coming to Canterbury you're welcome to come at a weekend and stay over. 16th I'm at a wedding, but if you want to come the last weekend you're here, 6th-7th, you're welcome.

And I should be able to come up to London sometime before that to visit. Will give me a good excuse to go and eat Krispy Kremes! Some museums are fun, and foreign restaurants are cool!
