It's funny because for a while, I didn't talk to anyone I went to high school with, but now, I talk to quite a few. Of course, I met Matt while I was in high school, and I go to church with a couple of girls who I went to school with. Funny, though, none of them were people I really talked to in high school.

At seven, a battered station wagon pulled into the Delta front yard. It was royal blue, had mud flaps and bore on its side the legend OTIS DAY & THE KNIGHTS. Boon rushed to the door and watched in near ecstasy as the station wagon poured out Negroes. Cool city black guys were rare as chocolate egg creams in Fuber, Pennsylvania. Funny you should mention the funniest film ever made. It was just on AMC last night. I watched a little bit of it before the season finale of Deadwood came on. I've seen it countless times, but it never gets old.. not yet anyway. If you've never seen it let me know. You need to own it. Everyone should, in fact. I really think it's the funniest film that I've ever seen. It's just great.

Anyway...I love that film.

yeah man, i saw that sunday night on amc. my old man told me they cut some stuff out...somehow he remembered most of the dialogue to the film....which i've never known him to do before. that's why yesterday i got to looking for otis day stuff.
