Someone's really gotta love you to hate you that much though, ya know. I don't think I tickle anyone's fancy to the point that they really care that much. Maybe I'm wrong though.
I should go to bed though. The whole getting up at zero four-thirty thing isn't really for me I don't think.
I suppose, but arguments like that are just so stupid. That's why I didn't respond to the guy's reply to my comment. His original post just seemed filled with negativity and I saw it, after having a bad day myself, and thought, "What's with all of this?" ya know. I think if someone has a problem with where that band's at now or doesn't like 'em they should do themselves a favor and quit listening you know?
Very juvenile, but anyway...I'm feeling better today and would actually be doing a lot better if I were still sleeping, but since I'm up I'm going to make the most of it. I have an appointment at the education office here in about twenty minutes so I gotta run. Take care.
There's a lot of negativity towards Jerry Only from people who only like that band's lineup with Glenn Danzig.
In the last half of the nineties Only restarted the band with his brother, Doyle, who had played guitar with the band back when they were with Danzig on vocals. They released the CDs American Psycho and Famous Monsters. After a few years of this new Misfits lineup, though, the band once again disbanded.
After this, Only came up with something called M25 or the Misfits 25th Anniversary lineup OR something like that (I don't know) with basically himself on bass guitar/vocals, former Black Flag alumn Dez Cadena on guitar, and either Marky Ramone (of the world famous Ramones) or Danzig-era Misfits/one time Black Flag drummer Robo on the skins. This lineup released a CD called Project 1950Anyway, it just seems like some people can't get around the idea of a Misfits lineup without their beloved Danzig and the feelings of dismay and disgust seem to have turned to feelings of hatred for Only for pushing on and using the name

Give it time, Davey boy, when you gain stalkers and angry people who comment in your journal and the communities you are in. Wait till then.

Granted, you're talking about a logo, but then again, I've gone off on rants about the Superman logo, so there.
And it didn't seem like he had a problem with the band - he just wanted clarification on what to call the logo.
Still, I don't follow the band or that community, so context is probably important here.
