Any of you guys seen Showtime's Weeds? I rented the first season last night and just got done watching the first episode. Fucking. Hilarious. And that's just the pilot.

Check it out if you haven't seen it. I kind of wish that I'd seen it sooner.

Yeah! Me too. It's like Showtime has surpassed HBO or something. How does that happen?

I might just have to get a Showtime subscription when I finally move out of here. I'm kind of curious about the new David Milch (Deadwood) show on HBO, though. It's only been on for about a month, but it's about a surfer or family of surfers... or something, from what I've read. Have you seen that one at all?

Deadwood has been on for awhile. You will love it. I love John from Cincinnati on HBO right now.

Deadwood was the shit! What is John From Cincinnati about exactly? How is season two of Big Love? I've been out of the HBO loop since last August.

agreed, we subscribed to showtime temporarily to see the last few episodes of the tudors, and i was bored one day (adam was playing computer games) and saw that both seasons were on the showtime on demand channel. watched about a 1/4 of the pilot epsiode by myself, but just had to drag adam away from his civ 4 game b/c it was so hilarious. we spent the next 2 days marathoning season 1 and 2. it gets kinda hairy and not-so-funny toward the end of the 2nd season and ends on a helluva cliffhanger, but otherwise i loved it.

Lucky me, then. Season two comes out on the twenty-fourth, I think. So I'm definitely gonna keep an eye out for that one. So far, from what I've seen, this show is great... and that's only after viewing the first six episodes, you know?
