i must say. that was very well written. but i'm sure you were thinking about what you were going to say the whole 43 hour hike back to the ferry, weren't you? my goodness jaime that sounds AWFUL. but what were you thinking?! a hiking trip with brian, tom, & matt?! not only would they mock you half the time because you had to walk three hours away to pee in the woods whilst they merely unzipped...but i couldn't even begin to imagine what the conversations were like. still, on the other hand. it will make an incredible story to tell your grandkids. & i also found it very entertaining to read. enjoy your air conditioning! you deserve it.

at first i thought, "this was a good IDEA that just didnt work in action." i think that really was the worst idea though-and peeing in the woods didnt help. i thought that part would be the worst...but my trips into the woods for a tinkle were the best part fo the trip. i ran into one of those huge spider webs too on one trip and i completely flipped out ha ha. my skin is crawling just thinking of them! EW!
