can someone tell me why roaches terrify me so?

is it their hairy legs.....their dark color.....or is it their resilience to chemicals that promise to "kill 'em dead"

erika and i had this same discussion monday night. i derived its a combination of the color, thin crackly flaky wings, that clicking noise, and how they purposely run toward you. its like, "there's that scared stupid human 1 million times larger than me, CHARGEEEEEE!!!!!"

ugh and they're like disease ridden and theyre SO UGLY with their antennas...and UGH i hate them SOOOOO much..and they can fly at you....UGH

Roaches can sometimes have a beautiful transparent brown quality in the wings, though. Maybe finding the beauty in these little buggers will help the fear to not be so sensorally based. ---Dr. Phil---

I mean, I can understand and empathize (you wretched bitch) and agree with how the way they look is scary, but I try to remember that they're bugs.
