I wouldn't go, why should you be the one who always has to act like you are the one who messed up, you didn't do anything wrong, he is the adult. Though going to NY would be fun, you could just go and ditch him and check out the city. Whatever you do don't ever feel like you owe him something or should forget about the way he treated you, it wasn't your fault!
