[character history / background]:Prior to the events that led to his moving from the east to the west coast, there isn't a whole lot to tell about Harry's life. He grew up in the very small town of Embrey, Indiana - 'when in doubt, cut up a pig' level small - and eventually moved to New York City, likely because it was easier to blend in while you were stealing things in a place with approximately a million more people in it.

His life really didn't get all that interesting until the night he tried to steal his niece's Christmas gift, as it began one of the most unlikely series of events ever. Attempting to run away from the cops after his partner got shot, he ran into an open audition by accident and wound up being flown to Los Angeles in preparation for the part in the movie he'd landed. While out on surveillance, learning from a real private detective how to play the part of one in the film, he stumbled into a real life murder mystery. During the course of the mystery, he befriended the PI - Gay Perry - ran into an old friend of his ( ... )

[character personality]:In terms of instant appearances, Harry comes across as a somewhat immature, slightly incompetent, super non-threatening individual. He compulsively steals little things when he feels stressed out, speaks without thinking at all beforehand, has very little ability to use forethought, and has a deep seated fear of finishing anything, to the point where even things he actually wants can be dropped by the wayside.

Despite having a myriad of faults, Harry is actually a pretty good person though. It's difficult to find someone who tries any harder in the face of repeated failure, and for someone whose vocation is mainly theft, he possesses a ( ... )

[third person / log sample]:Harry was a little more... Shall we say, 'scatterbrained' than usual today. He was in to open the shop as a favour to Jonesy, and had effectively been arms and legs and more occasionally mouth a-kimbo since he'd woken up. The way over here - he'd had to go pick up something from some place he'd already forgotten being to only two hours ago - had been a combination of walking, falling, and awkwardly sort of doing both at the same time. Actually being in the shop had admittedly calmed him down a little bit, but partially inversely made it look and feel as though he were more frenetic than before, since now there was an enclosed space thing to be concerned with.

Having already nearly knocked over a shelf, Harry was currently very concerned with space. If he had to put a bookshelf back up to rights and reorganise all the books that had fallen off it, he would effectively be able to say goodbye to and of the other things he might have only in passing wanted to do today. That, and he just wanted to not leave ( ... )
