I had a friend once. She was a lovely, fun, albeit slightly bizarre person (which is a huge part of why I liked her so much) who I've known since I-don't-know-when. It's a pisser, all right... someone did that to me years ago. Stopped talking to me, wouldn't return my calls, didn't tell me what was wrong. It's true -- if a "friend" doesn't even give you a chance to make amends, is he or she even a friend? I decided that no, she was not and I haven't looked back.

I know exactly ... *precisely* ... how you feel. Someone we both know has done the same to me.

As far as I'm concerned, it's their loss, not ours. We are totally cool people, agreed?
