alright..im not trying to start any problems with people, but i just think its funny how lately everyone seems to care how other people are dressing, or what music they are listening to. i don't really understand why it matters to anyone else what people want to wear or listen to. it really doesn't effect your life if someone listens to the same

I know I'm one of those people, so I'll just say it in the best way I can.

When you like a band truly and are a fan, it gets annoying when people who don't listen to your music start saying that the band is really cool and that they are fans even though they know the songs on the radio ONLY

yea i understand.. i just want you to know i dont think im all cool now because i like MCR, i actually do think they are really good. i know i've only heard a few songs..but i don't want you to just assume im saying i like them because everyone does, because i wouldn't do that.

i didnt understand one thing u said....saying it is wrong to only like the band b/c ur friends told u about it is soo stupid...is it wrong for someone to play u a song and for u to like it...maybe ur too judgemental instead of just strong willed like u think..not eveyone wants to be just like u...some ppl just like MCR songs..and if u spend ur time thinking about who is a poser or a fan and who is not..then i think this is b/c u urself are a poser..someone who is doing things just to be different and when someone likes something u like...it takes away ur fake individuality..

I'm trying to be as objective as possible here, but really, no one asked what you think. If you like a band ONLY because your friends do, then you my dear are a poseur. Playing a SONG is different from liking a band. I can say I like the song, but to say I love the band when I only know ONE song is stupid.

THAT makes no sense at all. A poseur is someone who listens to music or dresses differently to act cool or just don't really like that style/music at all. And I will spend my time doing whatever I like, thanks much.
