Physical description: Amy has blonde hair and blue eyes, pouty lips and just a hint of a tan to her naturally pale skin. She's slim, slight, and not at all physically imposing. It would make her the prefect cheerleader, if she had any sense of balance or coordination whatsoever. Sadly, this is not the case. She keeps her hair tidy, usually back in a pony tail or at least swept back from her face.

Amy, unlike her sister Brookelle, is a product of her upbringing. Born to parents who were already in their late forties, Amy grew up dressing in demure skirt and blouse combos, sun dresses, sandals and twinsets. Nothing too revealing, nothing too progressive or out there. She's a traditional girl at heart, and it's not all to do with her parents. Given the choice, her conservative clothes are what she would naturally gravitate towards anyway.

She has no piercings except for the two small studs in her ears, done on her fifteenth birthday. She has no tattoos and no plans to have any done. She's got nothing against them, in fact she has been known to admire body art in others, but it's just not her style.

Personality

Likes: routine, stability, security, wooden boxes for her keepsakes, writing and receiving notes and letters from her friends, even if only from the next desk over, Mason, her sisters, her parents, her grandparents, France, cats, books, studying, learning, writing new spells
Dislikes: chaos, drama, losing things, clutter, being ignored, feeling confused, people laughing at her, being called naive (even though in her heart of hearts she knows she is), mean people, rodents, sports
Quirks: bites her nails. Is trying desperately to kick the habit.
Secrets:
Strengths: excellent recall for things she's read, beautiful handwriting that she's not averse to showing off, fierce protectiveness towards her sisters, strong maternal instinct
Weaknesses: extreme naivete in social situations, inability to detect sarcasm, ignorance of most innuendos, lack of basic common sense

Detailed Personality: Amy's sweet, innocent, and sheltered. Largely, this is because of her parents. Amy and her sisters were an unexpected surprise, born to parents who thought they would never be able to have children. As a direct result of this luck, they've always been really protective of her. The house rang with phrases like "be careful", "steady as you go", "watch yourself" and other perennial favorites. Amy never really learned to be self sufficient in any meaningful way, because there was always someone there making the decisions for her.

She an academic, born and bred. With a doctor for a father and an accountant for a mother, it was inevitable that at least one of the triplets would turn to academia and flourish. The house was filled with books from an early age, and Amy was reading more or less fluently before she was exposed to any formal schooling. Intellectualism was really the only plane that Amy and her parents related to each other well on, so as she grew it made sense that she would develop a fondness for learning. By the time she was accepted to Salem Academy it was more or less that she would be sorted into the intellectual house Proctor.

Sheltered as she was by her parents, it was surprising that Amy left the nest as soon as she did. In Mason she found all the support system she thought she needed outside of her sisters, as if instead of a boyfriend he was a convenient parental substitute. She truly loves him, though, with everything she has. She's not the kind of person who can be fickle with her love, she loves one and only one, and she devotes her heart to him. That one is Mason. She grew up with him next door, they were born within a couple of months of each other and have known each other all their lives. In Amy's mind, there is no one in the world (other than her sisters, obviously) who knows her better, and certainly there's no one in the world she trusts more. It made perfect sense to her that the two of them would end up together.

Apart from her family and her boyfriend, Amy is fiercely loyal to her friends. She doesn't have so very many of them, but the friends she does have know that they can count on her. She would take a bullet for most of her friends, or so she supposes, never having been called upon to do so.

To teachers, she's a dream. She studies hard, gets good grades, and is genuinely excited about learning. She's quiet and attentive in class, asks intelligent questions about the subject matter, and hands her assignments in on time. Yet she's not the sniveling boot lick kind of student that teachers dread.

History
Theodore and Elizabeth Dufresne met through work - Theodore, a doctor, hired Elizabeth, an accountant, to do his taxes. One thing led to another and before they knew it, they were in love and planning to marry. The logical next step would have been to have children, but somehow, no matter how hard they tried, it just never happened for them.

Ten or so years later, Theodore had reached his fifties and Elizabeth wasn't far behind him. Emma and Nathan Cove moved into the neighborhood in 1990, and because Elizabeth and Theodore rolled out the Welcome Wagon, they two couples became firm friends. The Coves were there through the whole nasty fertility battle that the Dufresnes faced.

The years ticked by, and they attempted IVF. Finally, less than two months after the Coves discovered they were pregnant, the Dufresnes conceived, and later found out it was triplets! Sure, it was late in their life, but they had never been in better shape to have children. When Amelia, Brookelle and Camille were born they became the focal point of the household. As previously discussed, they were doted on, fussed over, and generally made much of. Thankfully Elizabeth and Theodore had spent their many childless years forming opinions on how to raise children, and they didn't involve spoiling the girls with material possessions.

They had a huge party to celebrate the pregnancies, it went well. Both couples were very good friends, even though the age between them was quite different. Theodore and Elizabeth were over 45 years old and Emma and Nathan were just over 30 years old. But that didn't matter, they were the best of friends. As were the children, they always had play dates together and everything. It was a beautiful friendship between the four children, and it stuck until they were teenagers.

When the triplets were around nine months old, they went on their first plane trip, to France, home of their forebears. They stayed for a month, and though none of them remembers that first trip, they're all extremely familiar with the stories that came from it. The trip became an annual tradition, something which evidently broke Mason's heart. The girls hated leaving their playmate for a whole month. But the year the four of them turned eight, Mason and his parents were invited to join the Dufresnes in France. Mason stayed for the duration of the month, though his parents only stayed two weeks, and ever since then Mason has been a regular fixture on the trips, joining the girls for the final two weeks of their stay in France.

Mason was the first to receive his letter of acceptance to Salem, and was reluctant to go until all three of the triplets got theirs. The news that the four of them would be attending the school together wasn't exactly a surprise to their families, but it came as a relief to the children. Having spend the first eleven years of their lives more or less inseparable, it was unthinkable that they should be separated now. On reaching the school, however, the four of them were separated in different houses - Amy in Proctor, Bee in ??, Cammie in ??, and Mason in Osborn. It didn't matter so much to them, though, because at least they were all at school and none of them had been left at home.

Though friends with all three of the triplets, it was Amelia who was most drawn to Mason, right from the start. As babies they would lie and coo at each other quite contentedly, as children their magic began to manifest in ways that showed their deep affection for each other. It seemed natural that as they grew, Mason and Amy would begin to date. Indeed, by the time they were thirteen, the two of them were a couple, and remain so to this day.

The couple consummated their relationship when they were fifteen. It was a very natural step for them to take - neither party felt pressured, or unready. Although their first time was a little fumbling and awkward, their genuine feelings for each other made it a beautiful experience, one neither of them regrets at all. They now have a healthy sexual relationship - not necessarily hot and heavy, but one based on mutual respect and love. Amy looks back on her first time with fondness. She loves Mason more than anything, and she's glad he was her first.

What Amy doesn't know, and what Bee doesn't know either, was that Amy wasn't the first of the triplets to express an interest in Mason. Cammie was the first to extend any sort of overture towards the boy, and she was kindly but firmly turned down. From the word go, Mason had only had eyes for Amy, and it remains a silent bone of contention between Mason and Cammie. As a result, the two are rarely found in the same room together unless they both have to be there, and even then interaction between the two is extremely minimal.

Journal Entry: I find it really sad that I haven't been to many parties at all this year. Seems like every week there's something going on, and then afterward it's all people can talk about. I guess some people might feel left out by that, but honestly, I'm really not sure that most of those parties would have been my scene. Maybe that beach party, but I missed that one because I was sick, and then there was the fireworks thing, that I missed because I had that essay due and only had a week left to write it... Okay, so I've been part recluse for the past few months.

It's easy to keep myself to myself when I have everything I want around me. I have the perfect boyfriend, two perfect sisters (and I never have to worry about forgetting their birthdays!) and my four year anniversary is coming up. I haven't got anything for Mason yet, I'm waiting to see how much of a fuss he makes about it in the days leading up to it, but I do have something in mind. I"m just going to have to find someone to come into Salem with me to buy it, because there's no way I'm going to go by myself.

RP Sample: Amy sucked the end of her pen absently as she stared down at her paper. Normally this wasn't so hard, but this year they weren't going to have parents on the plane with them, packing for them, checking on their every move. It was a little daunting to think of managing everything themselves.

Mason looked over at her, he just finished writing down a few things he would need for this summer. He already made up his mind that he wouldn't be going back home, but he didn't want to be away from his girlfriend either. "You know... You could always just stay home this summer, stay at the school with me?" he offered, wondering what she'd think about the idea.

Looking thoughtful, Amy considered the idea. "I can't, Mase, you know that," she said finally. "Cammie and Bee are counting on me to go, it's like a tradition. I can't just stay home with you... besides, don't you love smooching under the Eiffel Tower, and all that cliched stuff?"

He sighed softly, running his fingers though his blonde hair. "I know it's a tradition, I just thought...maybe this year could be different. It just be nice. And I love kissing you under the Eiffel Tower, but I love kissing you here too. I just don't wanna spend weeks away from you and only get to see you for the last two weeks of summer." He took her hand, running his thumb over the top of her hand.

"So come for the whole month," Amy suggested, brightening. "The girls won't mind, and maybe we can even... share a room this summer?" With her parents there, sharing a room had been an emphatic "NO" last year. Maybe this year could be different. She couldn't think of anything nicer than waking up to Mason and a view of Paris every morning for a month.

He smiled at that comment, a whole month away in Paris with Amelia in the same room, same bad? Well, that would be amazing. "Really? My parents would go for it, but are you sure your family won't mind me being there all month?" he asked, smiling. "I know they love me but that is kinda your time with them." He was being selfish to even ask her to stay home, he just missed her so much when she was gone.

"Leave my parents to me," Amy replied confidently. "They love you, Mase, they've loved you since you were nothing but a newborn. I'm sure they're not going to mind you and I, as in love as we are and have been for years, sharing a room."

Misc

Plot ideas you think we should know: Nothing I haven't mentioned before. Amy and Mason are a couple, and Angel's apping Mason at the same time as I app Amy. We're hoping they both get accepted together :) Also, Amy is a triplet, as mentioned in the app. Her sisters Brookelle and Cameron are still in the works.
