Make a decision and accept that decision as the one you choose to make.
If you hold on to the believe that you are bound to your choice by something not of your own will, or that your will is coerced by some outside object you will probably be miserable. Therein you will feel miserable unless you can either free yourself of the presence of any outside variable in this equation or lie to yourself well enough to where you can accept that fact; personally I highly recommend the former.
Whether or not you cannot accept your actions as of your own will completely or not the consequences of your actions will mostly likely still haunt you. I know something about such things I assure you. However, this can be whether, as is true of all adversity. I know a little something about this last said too.
