I love being at a school that's so much it's own being. We exist in our own little world where the cops hold the doors for drunk freshmen walking out of senior dorms. Would this be the same any where esle? I doubt it. (Okay, maybe Brown.) But the best part is not the rebelliousness of the social life, it's the rebelliousness of the intellectual

Go ahead and vent. I like knowing that there are people out there just as nerdy and just as in love with Brandeis as I am.
As to St Patrick's Day... I go home. It's my favorite holiday, mostly because I like the food and the fact that no gifts are involved and partly because it's an unavoidable reminder of my grandmother, and I can't spend it at Brandeis. I like to spend it at home, because it's one of the few places that understands my refusal to wear green.
