009 [Video] Surprises, Expected or Not
[Seiji appears on the Dreamberry, straight-postured and neutral in demeanor. Something is cradled in his hands, though the lower edge of the screen cuts the view off.]
Happy new year. I got the presents for Christmas. Thanks. They're nice. I hope some of you got mine too.
Seiji's List:
Black*Star - Secret Santa Llama giftee gets one of those holy iconic statues with a black star cutout for a face. Yanoo, since he's all about transcending God and all. It's totally mocking and sarcastic. Seiji gets the feeling Black*Star will mistake it as praise.
Mary Weather Hargreaves - D'aww, pseudo-little sister. Does she mind that he thinks of her like that? Anyway, Seiji got her a white stuffed rabbit to accompany her teddy bear Dreamberry. More guests for tea time, yes.
Naomi (Hunter) Javert - Ms. Boss gets a fancy schmancy coffee set that includes a Keurig Pureg coffee maker either for home or office, gourmet roast grounds, and two bottles of holiday-themed creamers. He may or may not have topped the packaging off with a totally platonic, Christmas poinsettia. Yup.
Belgium - So they might've not really met yet, but they've talked a few times and he thinks she's an okay gal. Plus, she's helping take care of Mary, and she'd better do a good job of it alright? Anyway, Belgium gets a fancy mug that comes with a couple packages of hot chocolate and mini-marshmallows.
Kamui - Just damn it, why are they still stuck in this place? They need to find an exit sooner than later, for real. So have a nice, fancy compass. Maybe it'll help, as well as be a reminder not to give up on looking.

[It might be odd to see the face that goes with Seiji's generally impassive voice. No real reason for the secrecy. He's just not all that social by choice and doesn't bother using the video option voluntarily. So is there a reason he's making such a post now?
As if on cue, whatever's in his hands pokes its head out, cranes it neck to look right into the camera, and squeaks. Seiji looks down.]

[He sits down at a table and puts the creature on top to roam around. He moves the Dreamberry further to get a wider view of them both.]
It's the miniature version of the lake monster, I think. She ended up in my toilet of all places. [An afterthought.] It wasn't used yet, but I still washed her up. [Back to his straight talk.] She was in the fountain before. Now she's here. Why is she avoiding the lake suddenly?
[Little Nessie stumbles and cries. Her upper body hangs over the edge of the table.]
Watch it! [He launches across and grasps for her. The table jostles under him, knocking the Dreamberry off-balance before it shuts off.]
