Mostly stolen from
crazedcrusader; changed a few.
You claim one, I write 100-300 words of it in the comments. Feel free to specify a pairing you'd like to see; if you don't, well, deal with what you get, if any. These'll probably be either canon or Millicanon, with Supernova canon if the time period's right. *grin* Specify if y'like.

no idea when I'll write these... )

"Wes, I've known you for almost fifteen years. It's always what it looks like."
"No, he's right this time, chief. Really not what it looks like--"
"And I've known you at least as long. Though I must say, this is certainly a new side to you I've not seen before."
"Haha, Wedge. Leave the jokes to me."
"You were going to make a joke about this? It's not funny, Wes!"
"I didn't say it was! Wedge did!"
"Actually--"
"Shut up."
"Did you just tell me--?"
"Yes."
"I notice you've not moved yet, by the way."
"That's what I was trying to tell you! It's not what it looks like!"
"See, he was helping me with my boots, and the Solo kids were here earlier and spilt that super-whatever glue--"
"So it's not what it looks like."
"Right!"
"So why doesn't Hobbie have any pants on?"

This, naturally, was not worthy of a response from the pilot. Of course he was reading. Oh, no, actually, he was just holding the book and staring at the pages for the hell of it.
Atton dropped into the seat opposite anyway, sparing the third occupant of the booth -- a sleeping Hobbie -- a glance before stealing a cookie. "Is it something embarrassing?" he added hopefully.
In answer, Wes held the book up a little so Atton could see the cover -- an Aurebesh-English phrasebook/dictionary.
"...you're kidding."
"I never kid."
There was a snort, not him or Atton. Wes glanced sideways, but Hobbie was apparently still asleep. Must have been a snore.

He could never turn down a challenge.
So, somehow, here he was -- in New York City, in the Loft, being taught some Earth dance by Mark, just to prove he could do it.
"Why's it called a tango, anyway? What's that mean?"
"Wes, you have to pay attention or you're going to-- ow!"
"Oh, did I step on you? 'msorry, it--"
"Just concentrate. Now, left, and quicker, and-- right! You're getting it!"
"--ooh. I like this. I can do this." Beat. "Is it always so close like this?"
"Er ... yeah. I mean, if you want, you can-- I mean, I think you've got it now--"
"No. I like it. Lemme try again -- can I lead this time?"
"...er. Well--"
"If you don't want to ( ... )
