ooc: things you never knew about Wes
1. He's not in love with Inyri anymore. This is a fairly recent development, hi, yes, even though they broke up four months ago.
2. He doesn't really know it yet though.
3. He still has that cape from Adumar. (The one with flatscreens depicting dancing Jansons.) Wedge was unsuccessful in spacing it on the way back. He might bring it back next time he goes home.
4. He also still has the "Yub yub, Lieutenant" cape, but he'll deny that if anyone ever asks.
5. Most of the time, he doesn't know when he's flirting, or when he likes someone. Neither does the mun. He only realised that's what it was with Atton a little while before he almost slept with him.
6. He was sorry for forgetting about that stuffed Bantha for Jaina. He's determined to remember it next time.
7. Sometimes he wants to tell everyone he meets that he's in love with Hobbie, and sometimes he doesn't want anyone to know at all. He never wants to do anything to ruin it, because hurting his wingmate is the worst thing he can think of (even when they weren't 'together') -- but he knows he probably will at some point, and he hates himself for it.
8. His favourite colour isn't yellow. It's Rogue Squadron red. Shh.
9. Contrary to what Inyri believed, he does screw up and he does think about it. There's a list in his head, a tally: Doran, Piggy, Talons, Inyri. He's terrified the fifth'll be Hobbie.
10. He really likes pink fruit fizzes.
