Google Mail

Anyone out there using Google for their email? Last week they added a new setting which lets you always use https. It is a really good idea to turn this on (it's at the bottom of the General tab in settings). We don't want anyone getting caught by this google account hacking tool, do we?

No probs! It's something that has been worrying me for a while, I'm glad they're finally giving us the option to do it properly!

I think that someone had already noticed the problem with "sign in over HTTPS but use the session cookie over HTTP", but made it a lot more public at one of last month's hacking conferences.
I wonder how long it'll take for all the others to catch up.
