It really sucks that Borders is closing, I got all my Harry Potter books there and countless others. I have found the Barnes and Noble in Colonie Center to be quite nice, though.

There's a Borders in Crossgates, if that helps. But I know what you mean, the old Borders was just so awesome and full of win.

I don't like the one in Crossgates very much. It's too small, and the Sci Fi/Fantasy section is usually packed with very smelly people.

Though, I do enjoy the ceiling to floor book shelves.

If you haven't read it yet, The Book Thief, by Markus Zusak, is extremely amazing and enthralling and heartbreaking and hilarious and such. Is about a girl in Nazi Germany. Quite possibly my favorite book ever.
