Don't worry too much about high school, they tend to go easy on you the first day xP Plus, even though Dan's being a total jerkface, you're so nice&sweet that people'll just want to talk to you, and voila! Friends!
And it's okay if you dream about that one kid that that one girl has a crush on. I mean, I have stupid dreams about HP, so you are totally allowed to have rad dreams about said boy. And it's good that you want to focus on school, but sometimes it's nice to have little distractions like that (:
