Did I read that right? Did you type it right? Boiling negatives? As in putting them in boiling water (or some other liquid)?

boiling negatives??? which part of the film development do you do this at?

It's done post development. Take a normal neg, boil and then stick in freezer so it cracks further. Make sure you have more than one negative of the shot you wish to boil =)
