Can you make it to the Isle of Wight from your house boat? That's where I'll be heading. Sure it's not completely safe, but it's a big-ass piece of land sparsely inhabited and very difficult to get to if you're a zombie. Also, unlike a cruise ship or whatever, you'd be able to start a whole new civilization there, grow crops, raise animals, wonder how on earth to recreate science etc and maybe even from time to time head ack to the mainland.
