Warped Tour Rant
I'd been looking forward to Warped all summer, (lolz not really) and then I go, and first of all it was like a billion degrees outside so I was like "This shit is NOT going to work,". So once we get out of the car, there are no signs set up so we're all like "Okay, where the hell is the entrance?" So we start walking and end up at this huge mob of people. After standing there for about 3 minutes, not knowing what to do, I was like "Fuck this shit, I'm gonna go sit in the shade," So I go, the others follow, and we sit. We sit for 2 hours.
OKAY so once we decide to go in, they make me throw away my water bottle, and srsly, i feel the fatigue coming on already. The sun was so hot that I literally felt my skin crawl. I was going to cry. I pulled out the umbrella again, and my friends were like "WTF! Put that shit away!" So I was like "ugh fine!"
So we walked around, met up with a couple of other people and headed to the girls garage tent to meet Jefree Star. And truthfully, I didn't really care for him all that much, but whatever keeps me out of the sun. So we sat there for what seemed like an eternity and a line started forming somewhere, but we didn't realize it. So fast forward to about an hour later, I buy some french fries, offer them to everybody, meet a new girl named Nicole, and get a picture with the (wo)man himself. He was sweet, really he's cute. Not at all intimidating, only I think Jimmy pissed himself.
Nothing else really, got pictures with all the sc33nQu33ns, which was kinda pointless, because it's like, WTF they aren't really famous. But they were nice, so it's all good. (even Audrey) hmm... she signed my wallet, I was a little apprehensive about that, but she was too sweet.
Hannah Beth seemed a little pissed, but I managed to track her down and get a pic with her too. She was like "Yeah, yeah, but make it quick, I have somewhere to go," I was like yeah sure totally. She said "bye sweetie" and rubbed my back.
I got pictures with all of them, and as cliche as it seems, my life was complete for the moment.
Saw Paramore, they were awesome.
Saw Hailey and the rest of the band a couple of times throughout the day, I actually screamed Amanda in her face once. It was by accident! I was trying to get my friends attention. But she smiled, I guess it was all good. Cute girl.
Spent some time in the Trojan tent, told people there were no more condoms (not that some of them would need them, srsly), and went home only to be harassed by my mom who was like "why didn't you come home sooner? you have to go to Virginia!" I was like "SHUT UP!" But I didn't say anything.
A generally disappointing day.
