Had to post this bit. this line, this little moment. broke my soul. and its a pity it seems to get lost between the dance and Godric's Hollow and everything else.

She never would, I just never see it happening, they bicker, they babble, they talk superficial. I always saw Hermione going to Harry for her emotional needs. and I dont remember many significant moments of Harry, that didnt include Hermione. always these two. always.

I dont have a tumblr. boo. must get one, if only to spam harmony all over! and you can post it if you want, but doesnt tumblr not allow heavy gifs?

That scene broke me, like...I can't even talk about it. People are going to argue until they're blue in the face but I didn't take that as an OMGTRIO moment, I took it as just Harry and Hermione - them together growing old. Things that could be perfect :')

They kill me, hun, and i can't move on, not after this. they were perfect and right and they made sense and i die inside to think of all they could've been, and, tragically, are not.

i dont care what anyone says, and i've seen it being argued over, Hermione was talking about Harry and herself here. she wanted to stay here and grow old, with him. And Harry's silence after, just proved it. he knew.

I so agree with you on this. For me, she was referring to Harry. It just really strengthened what JKR said that something could have happened between them, because all those things that happened -- Idk, H/Hr shared really intimate moments, and where was Ron? Oh, right, he left.

O'm still bitter that they didn't end up together, tbh. Thank God for Kloves and his excessive H/Hr shipping.

exactly, its just an extension of what JKR said, its an acknowledgement of what we've been saying for so long. it was the materialisation of what we've saw in the books, the bond, the connection, the could-have-been.

I know, the tension between them was kind of obvious in both the books and the movies, but more so in the movies, thanks to Kloves. I don't even want to get into an argument with the rabid R/Hr fans with how they don't think H/Hr have potential at all.

you're right: I didn't say anything because I knew. but at the same time, I couldn't say anything for the bond that ties us together has knots, the knots being Ron and Ginny. we are resilient and go on without each other, but we can't without those two. it's the beauty of our broken relationship; our ability to compromise.

I refuse to believe that Ginny was a knot though, she didnt matter (as much). I think Harry knew that Ron had feelings for Hermione, and thats who he didnt dare betray. Also, Hermione who did, in a way, love Ron. Ginny was only a compromise, a way to still have Harry stay connected to the the other two.

i hate these books. lol.
