There are 15 nations that play cricket on an international level, almost all the countries in the indian subcontinent, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, West Indies, Kenya, Canada and Netherlands. And i understand you not knowing much about the sport, it's not big in Europe. But it's to us what football is for you guys. :D

And yes, India won in 1983, but this is the first world cup win in my lifetime lolol, in many others' as well, i imagine.
