hey, that's not true, i read your live journal occasionally, but you are right about people not caring unless it's beneficial for them, one person in particular is like that, i don;t think that they'll ever realize how much they hurt me

i care about a lot of people that i don't benefit from in our relationship. maybe its just me, though. i mean... for example.. mission trips.. going build houses and stuff, you don't even know the people, but apparently you care about them or else you wouldn't be spending so much time trying to help them, but how do you benefit from that? you care about people because you love them, not because you gain something.

you do gain something from that it makes you feel good about your self if it made you feel bad you wouldn't care for them anymore so your benifit from caring is that feeling you get that you did something good that your a good person nothing is totaly selfless unless you take a bullet for someone because that would hurt like a bitch but still in the end you'll probly be rewarded for it later on so whatever
