On apping - sample posts and reservations.
Remember that we don't really comment on the reservations to say if it's okay or not. You have a week, JUST DO IT! /o/!
Also on sample posts: (BTW, this will be linked to the userinfo page of the RP for any future appers and such. We ALREADY have a post similar to this one, but it's a good reminder)
PLEASE NO MORE SAMPLE POSTS THAT ARE BASICALLY ONLY SAYING "OH GOD, WHERE AM I? :O" Those really will get rejected.
For starters, Kev and I get to read 3094832094304973 of those. It gets boring. Boring = rejection. There's nothing special about your app, so there's really no reason to accept it XD; If your character - according to the sample post YOU submitted - sounds like every other panicked islander, ......whyyyyy are we accepting the character? XD;
You're more than welcome to be as creative as possible with the sample posts. PLEASE DO NOT HAVE THEM ONLY GO "Oh wow :O I wonder where I am? This is not Kansas! :O!!! Oh look a palm tree! :O!! OH MY! :O!" ...or something to that effect XD; It's...pretty established that your character would be CONFUSED. YES. THAT'S A GIVEN. Now let's move on BEYOND the confusion. And let the characters react to the island in their own way. Maybe they're busy thinking this is a cache for the pirates' goods and are planning to escape ASAP JACK SPARROW STYLE. ...Or they've decided to become a missionary and name the smartest person they see "Lisa Jr." SOMETHING. ANYTHING.
An example: Right here, Sebastian's sample post. (Not saying this is THE BEST APP EVER!!11!111 but you get an idea of the TYPE of sample posts we're looking for)

Sample posts should also be a DECENT length. A COUPLE GOOD SOLID PARAGRAPHS ARE REQUIRED. 5 sentences is not enough. It makes us go "....wait that was it wait what whaaaaat just happened here, son." MINIMUM WORD COUNT FOR SAMPLE POSTS = AT LEAST 200. Anything less will be rejected.
NEXT. PLEASE APP WITH YOUR PERSONAL/NORMAL LJ. DO NOT APP WITH A CHARACTER JOURNAL. It's hard to update the userinfo if we have to chase all that stuff down. ;___; Muchas gracias, senoritas and senors.
