It feels as if it's been ages since I've seen proper snow -- and I do mean real, proper snow. Cold, water-based, generally white-ish, melts in your hand -- and possibly your mouth, if you're one for free tasting, though these days (or maybe only some days, depending on when you're from) you'll be lucky if it tastes anything like water.
'S a bit unfortunate that this doesn't quite fit the definition of proper, though, considering it ought to be spring just about now, if I've got my time right. Which I always do, of course. But! On the bright side, the stuff is the perfect consistency for making snowmen, at the very least. If you're one to make snowmen, that is, which I gather some people must be, considering all the snow sculptures I've seen about. Or if not, you could always fall back on making the Abominable sort. If you must. I wouldn't suggest it.
-- At any rate, I've got the nagging feeling that I just might owe someone a tour -- or was it tea? Can't seem to remember which. Maybe it was both--? Er. Anyway, I'm ready if you are.
