Who: Kougaiji and Yukina
What: Yukina finds a wounded Kougaiji.
When: The morning after the Moe Note.
Where: Somewhere in the trees.
Rating/Warnings: PG / Bullet wounds. Possible emo, knowing these two. Emo confirmed. Also tragic backstories and a little romance.
Kougaiji slumped against a tree, trying to catch his breath. He'd managed to tie his scarf around the bullet wound in his right thigh, but it, and the matching wound in his left shoulder, were still throbbing painfully.
It had been a long, slow walk, and now the sun was coming up. He estimated he was about halfway back to his cave. If he was lucky, Ky wouldn't be there and he would be able to bandage his wounds and collapse. It probably would have made more sense to head for the clinic, but it was farther away, and he didn't really feel like explaining to anyone how he had ended up getting shot.
He didn't blame Sanzo for being angry about what had happened, but shooting him had been a little extreme, even for the trigger-happy monk. Their little interlude hadn't been Kougaiji's fault. Putting the thought aside, he tried to straighten up again, ignoring how his legs were shaking.
