Just did my 35 min tae bo video and although it is outdated and Billy Blanks has blue tye-dye shorts on, it's a great cardio video. I'm really trying to switch up my workout routine bc A)the johnson center is full of people trying to get ready for spring break and B) I think my body is getting used to running/biking so I need some muscle confusion ( Read more... )

if you're running a lot you SHOULD eat carbs! complex carbs keep you fueled when you're running. simple carbs are the ones that you should avoid. simple carbs are the ones found in sugary foods like candy and soft drinks. complex carbs are found in breads, pasta, cereal. you wouldn't want to overdue it eating those carbs, but they definitely give you more energy to run.
i usually eat oatmeal or a banana with peanut butter before i go running.
