Also, I keep having this idea of Kaito getting really upset and Luka walking into the penthouse's kitchen and find all the food's been taken out of the fridge and open the refrigerator to find Kaito crying inside. I find it really sweet when they interact as brother and sister.

Essentially, no. He'd protect her if it meant she'd be of use to him later, and seeing as she already owes him, he doesn't intend to let her die/get injured before he gets the chance to call in that favor.

He did try to kill himself once. |D;

He'd just resolve himself to it because he wouldn't have to suffer anymore. And he could see his parents and previous friends again. :3
