Well it's March 5. The Oscars are tonight. I've put off updating with my predictions, but it's time now. Here we go, Ben.

ACTOR IN A LEADING ROLE
After winning almost every major award, Hoffman has this. The only thing that could prevent that is if Brokeback Mountain has a huge surge and Ledger takes it. Both are deserving, with different and ( Read more... )

CRASH?!

I mean, it's a good movie and all, but CRASH?! I did NOT expect this. Is the Academy trying to be hip and cool now? 3-6 Mafia and CRASH in the same night?! Maybe this is good though, it shows studios that it doesn't matter when a film is released. Maybe we will see more good films all year long, instead of Ultraviolet, and shite in the middle of March. BUT CRASH?! And why did MEMOIRS OF A GEISHA win THREE!>?>? Oscars, while GOOD NIGHT, AND GOOD LUCK won nothing?!

But, let's look on to next year! The year of Scorsese!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm calling it now, by this time next year Martin Scorsese will have one. And he will shit all over Clint Eastwood, and Flags of our Fathers won't win anything.

CRASH?!

Poor Ben. Didn't you do know Spielberg produced Memoirs of a Geisha, which won three Oscars last night? No matter what year, Spielberg will come out a winner. He's the King of Hollywood.

I am still trying to get over this 3-6 Mafia win. I mean now do we have to call it "Acadamy Award Winning Song Its Hard Out Here For A Pimp" ? I mean I feel like we should be playing one of these things is not like the other with that sentence. I just find it hard to take the academy seriously after that. I mean was that REALLY the best song or have they resorted to picking names out of a hat ?

Chelsea you beat me to it.

Well Kurt, now that you know my news I must pass along some credit. I never would have correctly guessed best song if not for you telling me that it beat out Rent for another award. Thank you. I now get a candy bar for my success. It's totally worth it.
