Shane. Shane. Come back!

Sep 19, 2006 22:00

I'll say it: I'm scared. Of what? I suppose just growing up in general. I'm 19 now and I look out into the big world and I see what other people are accomplishing who are my age and I'm disappointed. I know that's them and I am me (obviously), but that's no excuse. Some people are already making their dreams come true, or are making a ( Read more... )

Hey Sloane. Thanks for all your kind words. Life is so confusing, having to figure everything out. It's comforting to know that there are kind, intelligent, passionate, and unique people out there like you who feel the same way. Thanks for allowing me to realize I'm not alone. Wishing you the best in all that you're doing, and your own personal questions. Take care of yourself as well. :)

Hey Kelly. Good job identifying the title. Hopefully it wasn't too difficult, considering it's one of the three different words of the entry title.

Your words made me smile in the best way. I hope I can repay you by always being there for you, and say just the right things. I'm sorry we didn't see each other enough this summer. And since we've both been back to school. We are get wrapped up into our own worlds, and sometimes neglect those that mean so much. I hope you're doing well, that we'll talk and/or hang out soon, and I applaud your exquisite run-on sentence and superb comma usage. Miss and love you.

Kurt!

I, unlike Kelly, do not know the movie your title is from.

but thats basically how our relationship is. i'm the ignorant girl and you enlighten me all the time about everything. I miss the Kurt you were too because we hung out more, but of course im so happy for you that you've been so sucessful and im really proud of you! i don't think you should be worried; im sure something will come to you and you'll suddenly realize what it is you want to do with your life and how you want to do it. until then, stay positive, and if youre ever home and bored, and feel likemaking me watch an old (even old in your standards) movie that i'll probably roll my eyes over, please call me cause i really do miss you a lot!

i love you!

Chels - I miss you too. It's been forever since we've hung out, and that's really weird. I hope senior year's going well. I have been keeping up by reading your LJ, I just haven't posted any comments. To prove this: I know you have an insane amount of periods spent in the senior lounge, like three (maybe four?). I promise we'll hang out soon too, don't worry. And don't get stressed out. This is your last year in high school, make it your best, and cherish the memories as they come, though, I assure you, there are many more to look forward to. Love you too. :)

Hey Ben. Love you too, man, and you're ABSOLUTELY RIGHT, we didn't hang out enough. I did end up seeing Scoop, which I thought was alright, but definitely not great, and I saw Little Miss Sunshine a couple weeks later. To be honest, I was disappointed, though I thought it was a good effort. It seemed disjointed and the ending reminded me of Napoleon Dynamite (in a bad way).

I guess the point of college is to learn about what we want, and we'll figure all the other shit out later. So here's to having fun and doing whatever the hell we want. Including seeing more movies together. Ditto to the movies you mentioned, plus I think The Queen looks interesting, and, I have to say it, I'm looking forward to Dreamgirls. I'm a theatre major; I have to say that. Talk to you soon.
