Out of curiousity - how exactly did you contact Blue Lake about going again? I am so interested, I got one of the letters from first batch in mid-August last year, but my parents wouldn't let me go, and I've been regretting it ever since. I'd give anything to be able to go. And last I checked they only had 4 flutes, which usually isn't nearly enough...
well ione not that im biased or anything ;) you should come with ME :-D lol im selfish
no actually youre right you dont have as many years left as i do and i think you should do what you think is best for you and your amazing french horning skillzzzz lol
i would look into the difficulty of the music personally i heard international's wasnt very hard this year but thats just me.. good luck love <33
That is a really hard choice, and I don't know if my opinion really matters seeing as I dont really understand all this stuff, but from what I've read, even though you loved Europe, I don't think that would be the best choice for you. I know that you really want to go somewhere with your music, and I think pursuing the other options is the better course.
You may choose to completely disregard this... this kind of stuff is a whole different world to me... punk rock is a lot simpler :-D

I think you should do both. Why not get the benefits of camp and touring. I would have to say though if you were to have to chose one.. I personaly would pick Europe. Only becasue its not common for people (our age especially) to get that kind of opportunity, Granted you already went their once, and from the sound of it, enjoyed every minute. Summers are supposed to be fun...a vacation. You would have spent all school year marching in the band and doing concerts. Plus your in the KJSO. That speaks for itself. Although others in that may be a tad better, but they have completely centered theyre life around music and that will end up being their career. Have you decided ewhat you wanna do with your life? Most people now havent. I would hold off on focusing everyone on the horn unless your really wanting to make it a career. waking up everyday having to play it... I know ive made this long, but my vote is for EUROPE!!!!

If you can do both, then do both. But from what I'm getting you're trying to choose between Europe and Interlochen. Ione, you're an amazing musician. I hear you and I'm not just saying that. I truly think you are. And your right...you may not have what it takes...but how do you know until you try? Why not go for it? If you do good then you can get into the schools you want...start a career in music...and even go touring in Europe later on. I have faith in you. I know it doesn't mean much, but I do. And what's the worst thing that could happen? You don't make it? You don't do well? Well at least then you don't have to spend the rest of your life wondering what would of happened if you would of went for it. You won't wonder. You'll know. I love you kiddo.
