HIGH PRAISE, INDEED. I tried really hard, and it's funny: I've always been very intimidated when it comes to writing Sherlock, just because he's so impossibly smart and logical (whereas I'm a bit ridiculous and super emotional), but it was incredibly easy to write him in this piece! YAY.
