Thanks for the metro cards! We just got them today, and I'm sure we'll use them. The weather is getting really nice here, much better than when you were here. Sunny and perfect for biking to Sticky Fingers.
My dad made a big fuss when he saw one of my tattoos, but considering he was smart enough to give himself a tattoo with a needle and a pen on his arm when he was 12 which still shows up a bit, he couldn't really say much. But I know what you mean - I took my eyebrow piercing out when I went down to see my Grandpa my freshman year of college (I was much closer to my grandparents than I was to my parents) just because I didn't want to upset him, so I ended up having my eyebrow pierced for all of a month or something, even though I really liked it.
