Don't take this personally, but the amount of semantic bullshit and disinformation in the above make my head spin.
On the other hand, I've got news for you. An 18 year old can buy an AK-47 at many gun stores WITH the ban in place (in fact, the Brady Ban doesn't affect almost any AK-47s because they are foreign made, so they fall under firearm import laws instead), but it's not fully automatic. Without the ban, it would still not be fully automatic.
Lesson #1) A gun is a tool, it's the people who use them illegitimately that we should ban.
Lesson #2) Many anti-gun activists, apparently including the writer of this piece, don't even know what the legislation they support does. These bills are some of the best examples of feel good legislation I have ever seen, and they don't even address the problem accurately.
Say NO to feel good legislation.

Try living in the UK where we have fewer firearms death in a year than any given American state has in a week.
Firearms are a tool, well so is a fucking Forklift truck and you don't permits for them being handed out willy nilly. Don't be stupid. Leave the guns for the professionals.
