[In the afternoon, Mike can be found on the couch with a stack of his comic books, a movie playing on the TV stack. A closer look will reveal that he's not reading or watching the tv. He's just staring off into space. Klunk is lying on his chest, sleeping.]

[Words cannot express how much Don has missed seeing this. At least, for that brief moment before he realizes that, like everything else the last few days, all here is not as it seems.]

[Don gently pushes down the comic book that Mike is staring through.]

[Don folds himself to the floor, taking the comic book and returning it to the stack as he does so.]

[His tone implies not a really okay kind of okay, but rather a not-on-the-verge-of-total-breakdown okay.]
