Why, thank you! I was reading up on Nam lingo, contemplating writing something dealing with John's tour of duty, and came across the term. Thus was this fic born.

Thanks so much! Yeah, I just got the idea of the two of them serving together( see above), and had to write about it! I haven't run into any other Nam!John fics. Have you?

Yours was actually the first Nam!John fic I have ever read. I know there are communities devoted to John - I've never had a chance to explore them. Could be some there.:-)

Wow, interesting idea, picking up on the similarites between John's days as a Marine and his current battles. Nicely done. :)

Why, thank you. I think it's only reasonable that on the Hunt, John would be reminded of his time in Viet Nam. Killing is killing. And the VC were practically ghosts to the American kids over there anyway.

Right. And I'm not exacty an expert (not by far) on the military stuff, but I used to write a lot of 'Band of Brothers' fic, and I really liked John's flashbacks. They felt very real. :)
