First. FIRST.

Is it just me or...

Somehow, I feel like zero people noticed this. Were we all too busy being shocked and surprised that one of the brothers is keeping a secret from the other one, or what? Maybe we were wondering if Benny had already broken

great post! let me raise one more question, why was it simple and pure in purgatory, is everything there evil? everything? i thought purgatory was where unbaptized babies went, and creatures like dean's daughter the amazon...who professed she wanted to not kill...and never did actually kill anyone...and madison, who never knew she WAS killing...and was an innocent victim of a werewolf herself...so...do all these creatures deserve to be killed again? and again? and again? because if you die in purgatory i somehow doubt its a ticket out...just a reboot...and another reboot...and another...

I noticed the whole "vamp in the daylight" thing but I was too busy comparing that scene to the end of Silence of the Lambs when Lecter calls Clarice about finding his next lunch. And then my mind went to a strange Dean/Benny/purgatory place and I didn't even hear the dialogue for awhile. (I don't think I ship it, but it's a weird place to visit. There's a lot of blood on the walls and everyone has stubble.)

OMG, was that Eli? I knew I recognized him from somewhere? And the accent. Oh, yes.

I'm with you on the whole Sam deal. He's not Dean. He doesn't have Dean's motivations and hang ups and psychoses. He has the right to let someone else pick up the slack for a while while he deals with his latest devastating loss. Let's just wait and see, shall we?

I think the whole Benny deal has a lot of potential. Because he could have already snacked on the person in the cemetery and what does that mean for Dean springing him from Purgatory?

I'm looking forward to this season a great deal, the issues with the pilot notwithstanding. I'm intrigued. But then, I'm always intrigued by this show. We'll see, I guess!
