This part hit me especially hard, because it sums up Dean's learning experiences so well. When has someone ever told him that he, too, is only human?
“It’s alright, Dean,” Cas says. He sits cross-legged on the floor right next to him as if in solidarity, and somehow this is the last thing Dean expects. He expects to be told to snap out of it, to get his shit together, to move, move, move. Because that’s what he’s always been told.
I'm glad for Cas to be there for Dean.
