Okay. So, wow. Hi! It's been, what? A hundred years or so since I posted anything? How's it going around these parts?

( He worries that Dean’s in some kind of shock. He doesn’t speak, just twists a frayed strand of blanket wool between his fingers and squeezes his eyes closed every few minutes. Like he’s trying desperately to remember something. Or forget. )

Fabulous coda and who doesn't love a bit of Sammy taking care of Dean? I second your comment that this is a very welcome role reversal! Great fic. :)

Edit. P.S Waaaaaaaay back when, you made a prompt on mad server's season 7 finale meme, requesting Dean being sprung from Purgatory on the other side of the world, and I believe you specified 'terribly banged up Dean'. Well, I did fill it (it took a while, and not solely due to the speed I write at!)

I saw this and thought COOL a story I hadn't read and went to see. I had read it of course. The art doesn't show up when you open the story though. i didn't know if it was supposed to or not.

Thank You! I was waiting that somebody wrote a coda story to that episode! That episode seemed like a perfect prompt for this community. Great Story! It fits very well in the overall story and seems very believable how they would react.I liked especially the end, with Sam picking the glass out of Deans face and realizing something is very wrong.

An excellent coda to that episode. I loved the image of Sam sitting outside the bathroom while Dean's in the shower, especially coupled with this realization: "He wonders how many times Dean has done the same thing for him. Before all of this, he’d never really understood." Beautiful. I too love the role reversal of seeing Sam take care of Dean. <3
