I need to stop falling asleep at my desk. It's really difficult for patients to take me seriously when I can't see straight and/or there's something stuck to my face.

Larry, can you find your way to the library or the park? I could meet you there and we could go catch up on things or something. $15 says you're ( Read more... )

I was thinking the same thing! I was hoping to take some more samples to verify what I did today. Oh oh, and I want to try and find out what type of rays the moon is emitting here! There could be something that all other scientists have missed since they're not, well, really looking for what I'm looking for. But what I really want is a live subject... Not for crazy testing or anything like that, I'm not some 'mad' scientist! But if I could get a blood sample from one of them then I might have all the information I need! But what are the chances of that?

Also, just to let you know, I'm not letting you go alone if that's what you were thinking of doing.

.....moon rays? Does the moon give off rays? You know, I'll see what I can do about bringing a were back to the office. In all seriousness though, the blood sample might be plausible. And don't forget, except for the full moon, were's are human the rest of the time - that means no non-consensual experiments.

Ema, you're not coming with me. It's way too dangerous - the exorcisms are different because you don't stand a chance of getting mauled by a ghost. I do these patrols to keep you safe, you know.

Yes, they do! Low levels, of course, but I'm hoping there's something else there that would help explain the activity of weres. That would be a wonderful early-birthday present for me.

I wasn't talking about involuntary experiments, whether the person is in human OR were form! We scientists do have a code of ethics, you know. Well, most of us anyway.

I don't trust you to take samples on your own. Besides, if science didn't have risks then it wouldn't be worthwhile. I'm going.

So you want moonbeams for your birthday? Ha ha ha, I'll see what I can do.

I trust your ethics, don't worry, but even the best can get a bit...zealous sometimes.

You're not going. I know how to take samples and besides, I can't always protect you.

YEAH DON'T FALL ASLEEP BECAUSE THEY'RE HAVING A HARD TIME TAKING YOU SERIOUSLY ANYWAY, FAKE-DOCTOR.

....Ok, fine. I'm not a medical doctor, thus, by your definition, not a doctor at all.

But that would require me caring what you think a doctor is. And I don't. Please leave me alone already.

If you don't care then why are you replying to me, Mr. Fake-Doctor?

The same could be said for you! Why contact me at all?

Yeah, I guess they would. But all I've got on my desk are hardcover books and pens and other pointy things. Not the best pillow, really.

Good, I'll drop you a line when I get more details.

And yeah, it would be if I could get in contact with him. He hasn't replied to any of my messages....

I apologize for not getting in touch with you earlier. What did you have in mind?

Well, Larry's pretty new to the city - I was thinking maybe we could all meet at the library and go for drinks? I wouldn't mind just staying at the library, but you know Larry...
