Animals they may be, but the amount of trouble we humans go through for them....

Spent the entire morning trying to look for my dog's sterilization papers because she's due to a license (bloody singaporean law requires every fucking dog on this island to be licensed and tagged,

OR ELSE YOU GET A HEFTY FINE OF 5000 SINGAPOREAN DOLLARS.

I feel awful for asking this..

I never had a pet in my life and I don't have pet experience or whatsoever..

But why would a pet need a license? Is it for medical purposes only??

they are mainly for dogs and cats, or things bigger than a cat. Maybe its because our country is too small to be populated by too many strays. Stray control. Its costly to own a dog in singapore. Mine is a mongrel, something i picked up from the side of the road, but she has already cost me nearly a thousand dollars just to keep her.
