In 1967 a Japanese man called Monkey Punch created a manga (comic book) series called Lupin The Third. It was based the character Arsene Lupin, created by some French author in the 40s i believe. The manga later became an anime series (cartoon) in 1971. Well this series was about Arsene Lupin's grandon, Lupin Sansei ("sansei" means "third" in Japanese). Lupin III is a gentleman theif, kinda of like James Bond of the criminal world. Constantly wooing girls and outsmarting lesser criminals, and always with his right hand man Daisuke Jigen, master marksman. With occassional help from Goemon of the Ishikawa clan, whose sword is literally made from the hardest material on earth. Then of course there's Inspector Zenegata who's sworn duty it is to catch Lupin at ALL costs. This leads to some humorous chases in various parts of the world. They've even been temporary allies at times to thwart doing of a super villian who must be stopped

i'm down whenever. they just put out a new one recently... of course i have it. it's called Dead Or Alive. it's the 5th theatrical film. so yeah awesome.
